Keep America Meeting won two Gold Adrian Awards for public relations excellence in the 53rd annual Adrian Awards Competition, the largest and most prestigious travel marketing competition globally.

John Corry was named group sales manager for all three of Sunset Resort’s Jamaican properties: the Sunset Beach Resort and Spa, the Sunset Jamaican Grande Resort and Spa, and Sunset at the Palms; Natasha Lee Soy was named northeast U.S. sales manager for the resorts.

Kelly Fogarty was named director of sales and marketing at the recently renovated Beverly Garland Holiday Inn at Universal Studios in North Hollywood, Calif.

Erica Schatz was appointed senior sales manager of the Resort at Marina Village Cape Coral, Fla.

David Rijos became general manager of the AAA Four Diamond Shores Resort & Spa in Daytona Beach, Fla.

William J. Sanders III was named general manager of the Seagate Hotel and Spa in Delray Beach, Fla.

George Cozonis was appointed as general manager of the new W South Beach Hotel in Miami.

Greg Gooding became general manager of the International Plaza Resort and Spa in Orlando.

The Orlando-Orange County Convention and Visitor Center promoted Tammi Runzler from vice president of convention sales and services to senior vice president of convention sales and services.

The Tampa Convention Center named Marissa Adams its national sales manager for the southeast region; Jennifer Goulbourne was named sales manager for the Tampa Bay market; and Stacy McGlinnen was named national sales manager for the midwestern and western markets, as well as religious and agricultural groups.

Michael Semancik was hired as executive chef of The Mansion on Forsyth Park in Savannah, Ga.

Daniel Cartwright was appointed general manager of the Blackstone Renaissance Hotel in Chicago; Matt Balcik was named the property’s hotel manager; and Ryan Buck became its director of sales, catering and events.

Daniel Capello became executive director of the newly formed Jersey Shore Convention and Visitors Bureau in New Jersey.

Mary Beth Baluta was appointed as the regional sales director for the Cincinnati (Ohio) USA Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Suzann Stewart resigned from her position as executive director of the Tulsa (Okla.) Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Adam Roe was appointed executive sous chef at The Chattanoogan Hotel in Tennessee; Will Sanders became manager of the hotel’s restaurant, Broad Street Grille.

Lisa Kidder was appointed director of sales at the Austin (Texas) Convention Center.

Steve Lindburg was appointed general manager of the Dakota Mountain Lodge & Golden Door Spa in Park City, Utah.

Kelsey Chappelle and Lisa Going-Green became convention sales managers for the Southwest Washington Convention and Visitors Bureau.

John Murphy was appointed general manager of the Salish Lodge and Spa in Snoqualmie, Wash.

Todd Gillespie was named director of sales for the Greenbrier, a historic hotel in White Sulfur Springs, West Va.; Jeff Kmiec became the hotel’s vice-president of sales and marketing.
