The Four Seasons Vancouver completed a $20 million renovation of its 372 rooms and 23,000 square feet of meeting space.
Caribbean
The 500-acre Four Seasons Resort Great Exuma in the Bahamas has closed.
National
Arizona
Tuscon’s Lodge on the Desert completed a $15 million renovation of it 103 rooms and 10,000 square feet of indoor/outdoor meeting space.
California
The 420-room Hard Rock Hotel San Diego updated its 40,000 square feet of meeting space.
The 1,010-room Parc 55 Hotel in San Francisco completed a $30 million renovation. Key changes to the property include the new Cityhouse Restaurant and upgrades to all guest rooms, the club lounge, the fitness center, the lobby and its 30,000 square feet of meeting space.
District of Columbia
The Jefferson Hotel reopened after completing a multi-million dollar renovation. The boutique property offers 99 rooms and meeting space for small groups.
Florida
The 360-room Mainsail Suites Hotel & Conference Center in Tampa expanded its meeting facilities. The $11 million upgrade included an 8,000-sq. ft. meeting center and 6,000-sq. ft. patio and gazebo. The facility now accommodates 350 people for conferences and 500 guests banquet-style.
The Delray Beach Marriott received the Four-Diamond Award from the American Automobile Association (AAA), North America’s premier hotel rating programs for lodging excellence. The property offers 268 rooms and 14,000 square feet of meeting space.
Georgia
The 444-room Ritz-Carlton Atlanta completed a $20 million renovation of its lobby, public areas and ballrooms; renovations to the guest rooms were finished last fall. The hotel offers more than 17,000 square feet of meeting space, including two ballrooms, two meeting rooms and two onsite restaurants.
Formerly known as The Inforum, The American Cancer Society Center in Atlanta is open for meetings and events. The 110,000-sq. ft. venue has a 450-seat business theater and holds up to 3,000 guests for a cocktail reception. Ample parking and event management (booking, catering, design, etc) is available.
Hawaii
The Waikiki Beach Marriott completed a $28 million renovation of its 1,310 rooms and 50,000 square feet of meeting space. Enhancements also include the addition of a 1,800-sq. ft. suite overlooking Waikiki Beach.
Maryland
The 225-room Westin Annapolis completed a $2.1 million renovation that converted employee offices into an additional 2,000 square feet of meeting space. The Westin now has 13,600 square feet of meeting space, including the 6,343-sq. ft. Capitol Ballroom.
Massachusetts
The Millennium Bostonian Hotel completed a $25 million renovation of its 201 guest rooms and meeting space for up to 200 people. Other updates include the lobby, bar, courtyard and the addition of a new restaurant.
Texas
The 200-room NYLO Dallas/Las Colinas opened with 7,000 square feet of meeting and event space. The urban loft-style hotel runs on 100 percent renewable energy and offers PURE allergy friendly rooms. Complimentary business services and Wi-Fi also are offered.
The Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center in Grapevine was named the official home-game hotel of the Dallas Cowboys football team. Under the two-year contract, the Gaylord will host players, coaches, staff, cheerleaders and fans the night before each home game.
Four Points by Sheraton San Antonio Northwest opened as Starwood Hotels and Resorts’ 450th U.S. hotel and the brand’s first prototype. One hundred and thirty guest rooms, 1,400 square feet of meeting space and free high-speed Internet are offered.
