Addressing economic concerns, which are keeping many people from traveling and attending conferences this year, Meeting Professionals International is offering people the chance to attend its World Education Conference (WEC) virtually.

Virtual access passes are available through the MPI Web site. Educational sessions will be available for viewing from July 11-Oct. 15. Cost is $79 for students/faculty members of MPI, $299 for MPI members and $499 for non-members. Pass holders will have access to a live broadcast of the WEC’s opening general session, its power keynote presenters and 14 educational sessions; more than 100 archived educational sessions will be available. Virtual attendees also will be able to create online profiles on WEC’s social networking platform, where they can download handouts, network with attendees and interact with exhibitors.
