Tens of thousands of people have logged onto TSA’s Evolution of Security blog to list their grievances about laptop screening procedures at security checkpoints.

In response, several manufacturers have taken on the challenge of creating a more travel-friendly case, submitting 40 prototypes for testing. Government-approved styles include Travelon, Briggs and Riley, Targus, Aerovation and CODi. Expect the bags in stores just in time for the holidays.
