Teleconferencing rooms coming to Marriott

Teleconference technology is not new, but Marriott aims to make it mainstream by installing HP’s Halo Meeting Room “telepresence” network in existing conference rooms in select locations. These public access teleconferencing rooms will allow small and medium-sized businesses (and guests) to communicate with people half-way across the world in an environment that looks, sounds and feels as if they are merely across the table. Specific locations will be announced at a later date.
