Top 5 site selection factors

Price tags are a top concern for meeting planners, but according to the Knowland Group, only 6 percent of the planners they surveyed list it as their most important criteria for site selection.

Forty-four percent cited location, whether it was proximity to an airport, local culture, downtown nightlife or golf, as being most important. Other top site selection reasons were successful past experience (22 percent), unique meeting focus (17 percent) and venue reputation (12 percent).
