Hyatt debuts new baggage check service

Published: October 2, 2006

Select Hyatt hotels and resorts in North America now offer guests the ability to check baggage and receive boarding passes before leaving the property for the airport. The Transportation Security Administration-supervised program is the result of a partnership with Baggage Airline Guest Services.

For a $10 fee, guests may check up to two bags as early as a day in advance of air travel. The bags are transported to the airport and delivered directly to the flight’s cargo hold, allowing guests to remain baggage free until landing at their destination. The service currently is available at properties in Tampa, Boston, Dallas, Denver, Miami, Orlando, San Diego and Seattle, and will be extended to other Hyatt properties throughout 2007.
