Auburn-Opelika: Golf, team-building and great events

Watch for:

Want golf outings?

Auburn-Opelika is at the heart of the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail. The Grand National course is the most renowned (Jones himself called it the “single greatest site for a course”). Other notable courses include the Auburn Links at Mill Creek and the Indian Pines Golf Course, which also offers golf lessons.

Want to break out of the boardroom?

White Oak Plantation is a family-owned, year-round hunting lodge with accommodations and meeting facilities for up to 26 people. Children’s Harbor House, a non-profit for children and families on the shores of Lake Martin, has a window-lined meeting facility with a wraparound porch, and a Mariner’s Adventure Course with high and low ropes for team-building.

Want to team-build?

Auburn University coaches are available for football “fantasy camps.” Groups can learn the art of digital photography or floral arrangement, using the Auburn-Opelika Floral Trail or the gardens of Corley’s Cabin for inspiration. Pick up organic ingredients from Randall Farms or the Market at Ag Heritage Park and learn how to prepare a gourmet meal from a local chef.
